Tuition & Expenses TUITION CCSP provides students with a professional education. Students are required to pay tuition, application, and course fees. General authority governing most fees is contained in the California Education Code, Sections 89700 and 89724. Estimated annual tuition per student for the school year 2013 – 2014 is projected to be $34,640. (later will need to add verbiage about tuition refunds). CCSP reserves the right to make changes in tuition and fees at any time. APPLICATION FEE The application fee is projected to be $125 per student. Application fees shall be refunded only upon satisfactory proof that the applicant was unable to begin the term with respect to which application was made by reason of his/her death, physical disability, or compulsory military service (Education Code, Title 5, Section 41802). IT SUPPORT FEE An IT Support Fee is assessed to enrolled students. The IT Support fee is projected to be $120 per student, due at the time of registration. Financial Aid Information As students consider graduate education, they have to begin thinking about how they will pay for it. The cost of education can be expensive but the benefits of an education far outweigh the costs. Managing these costs, however, can present a challenge. Students who will need financial assistance in order to attend Pharmacy School are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid. Financial Aid is defined as any resource available to students to offset the costs associated with attending CCSP. All students may apply for Financial Aid. The primary types of financial aid are Grants, Loans, and Scholarships. The majority of these types of aid is funded by the state and federal governments and is based on financial need.  For most need-based aid, students will need to submit the Free Application for Federal Students Aid (FAFSA). You may complete the FAFSA as soon as it becomes available for the year you wish to enroll. The priority deadline is usually March 1 of the year you wish to enroll. For more information, see www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students receiving this type of aid will need to demonstrate satisfactory academic progress. Please note that applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree will be classified as a graduate student for financial aid purposes the three years of the PharmD program. This classification will affect the total financial aid package. Scholarships Scholarships are also an available avenue for financial assistance. Students who can demonstrate academic achievement, participation and/or leadership in community activities, and involvement in school organizations are encouraged to apply for available scholarships.Â
